Pick the perfect place to stay! Clearwater's accommodations fit every lifestyle and budget, from historical registered resorts to brand name properties to Superior Small Lodgings, cottages and efficiency apartments to cozy, wooded campgrounds within minutes of the beach. From value to upscale elegance, you have your pick of the cream of the crop.

Many of our larger properties have just completed floor-to- ceiling renovations and some of our smaller properties have been converted to townhomes and condominiums, some of which are available for visitor rental. New to the area are “condotels” which operate as hotels, with the expected hotel amenities, and offer individually-owned larger-than-normal rooms with small to larger kitchen facilities, upscale furnishings and expansive bathrooms.

The Superior Small Lodging Program is a unique accommodation concept established by the St. Petersburg/Clearwater Area Convention and Visitors Bureau under a contractual agreement with Cornell University to ensure that visitors have a guide to the best small lodging choices. Superior Small Lodging properties have fewer than fifty rooms and are distinguished by their friendly ambience and personalized service. Membership in the Superior Small Lodging program is determined by an independently conducted property review process; participation is an earned privilege and members must demonstrate an ongoing commitment and adherence to the requirements of the program.

Some accommodations allow pets. Please refer to the Accommodations Listings in the Visitors Guide for those that do.

Accepting accommodation is a contractual agreement, which is expected to be fulfilled by both sides. If one fails to cancel accommodations by the scheduled time, he may not only forfeit any deposit already paid but he may also have to compensate the establishment if the space cannot be re-booked. Use of credit cards is encouraged when making reservations and/or placing a deposit with a property. Inquire as to the cancellation policy and refund policy as they vary from property to property. A significant number of Clearwater's accommodations were built prior to January 26, 1992; therefore, they are exempt from ada requirements. For details, contact the property directly.
