Clearwater's restaurants offer a
fascinating variety of good, reasonably priced food served in attractive and
equally varied surroundings. Because the Gulf of Mexico is home to a
multitude of seafood and fish, enjoy those familiar and those new nightly
specials. A fish not tasted many places is our gulf grouper, a flaky white
fish prepared in as many ways as you can imagine. Enjoy our amazing sunsets
while dining in an open-air patio overlooking the water or sharing a more
elegant candlelight dinner. Combine fine dining with an interactive murder
mystery and exercise your imagination and deductive skills. For an
outstanding meal with even more inspiring scenery, consider a dining cruise
in the intracoastal and Gulf of Mexico; a wonderful memory will be the
result. Whatever you choose, you'll appreciate our outstanding service and
high quality food. Imagine experiencing our annual Frenchy's Stone Crab
Festival on Clearwater Beach the same weekend the Clearwater Jazz Holiday is
held on the waterfront on the mainland. Stone crab, available from October
to May, is truly worth the trip, so much so you’ll want to return again and
again just for that.
The Taste of Clearwater each September is a wonderful way to sample cuisine
from over 50 local restaurants.
When the sun sets, nightlife and entertainment options are as varied
as those during the day. The area's nightclub experience is ever expanding,
both on the islands and on the mainland, warming up after 10pm.
Coachman Park, on the intracoastal, is often the site of big name
musical entertainment for all tastes. Nearby
Ybor City's entertainment district offers a nightlife as colorful as its
Spanish heritage. Cruise Clearwater Harbor to best see Clearwater's evening
skyline, a very pretty view. Quality theater in professional surroundings or
in atmospheric dinner theaters makes for a treasured memory.
