The City of Clearwater, Fla., will be home to the 4th Annual Pier 60 Sugar Sand Festival, a 10-day celebration of Clearwater’s award-winning beaches. The theme of “All Out Music!” will come out to play as

1,000 tons of Clearwater Beach’s world famous sugar white sand will be creatively carved to feature a musical journey through the decades in the Sugar Sand Walk Exhibit. Gastronomy lovers will enjoy Clearwater Beach’s Taste Fest, taking place on May 6th, 2016. The fest serves as a celebration party that introduces visitors to more than 30 restaurants during Clearwater’s Beach Restaurant Week. The Bright House Clearwater Super Boat National Championship & Seafood Festival will welcome visitors to three full days of family fun activities and some of the world’s fastest and largest powerboats. The championship, taking place from Sept. 30-Oct.2, 2016 features a 2.5-mile race course located just off-shore from Clearwater’s award-winning beaches. Spectators can view the exciting action from the beach, Pier 60, various VIP viewing parties or from a boat viewing area in the middle of the track. The Hispanic Heritage Festival in early October celebrates what makes Clearwater unique and offers some of the best live public performances by internationally recognized Latin artists. The Clearwater Beach Chalk Festival will take place over three days, Oct. 21-23, 2016. The festival is a free, family-friendly community event that centers on chalk artwork designs along the sidewalk and promenades of Clearwater Beach. Participating local and regional artists, students, and artist groups will begin their work on Friday afternoon, working through the weekend to create chalk art masterpieces.
