New York, NY – Feb. 2, 2016 – The City of Clearwater, FLA. is bringing exquisite gastronomy and Grammy-nominated musical acts to its sugar sand beaches with the return of two annual festivals. The 5th annual Clearwater Uncorked Food Festival and the 10th annual Clearwater Sea-Blues Festival promise to bring fun in the sun during the month of February. Clearwater is bringing blues and bibs to the area with the 10th annual Clearwater Sea-Blues Festival. Taking place from Feb. 20-21 in Coachman Park, this festival will include Grammy-nominated musical acts from a variety of genres including rock, soul and blues. Headlining Saturday, Feb. 20 is Grammy-nominated, Sharon Jones and The Dap-Kings, whose music captures the essence of the funk/soul style of the mid-1960s. Other performers include St. Paul and The Broken Bones, a six-piece soul band based out of Birmingham, Alabama; Katy Guillen & The Girls, who have deep roots in blues music; modern singer Patrick Sweany; guitarist Davy Knowles; and blues crooner Franc Robert.
On Sunday, Feb. 21, Grammy-nominated American singer, songwriter and musician, Beth Hart, will headline. Nikki Hill, whose voice echoes soul singers from the past, will get audiences moving to her blues and R&B inspired beats. Other performers include Mississippi-based blues musician Grady Champion; the group Flow Tribe; singer Nate Currin; and top Florida musician T.C. Carr.
