Clearwater Hotels Go Above and Beyond for Guests

June 23 2016 | Clearwater Old

Clearwater hotels always set the expectation of going above and beyond for their guests. Recent stories continue to show that hotel staff are devoted to insuring everyone, even a stuffed toy elephant, can enjoy a day full of exploration and fun.

Clearwater's Opal Sands is no exception. Upon noticing the toy elephant left alone and missing his owner, the staff at Opal Sands curated a day of soaking up sun rays and going behind the scenes of everyday activities at the resort. The day started with the toy elephant helping to craft sand castles and then putting on sunglasses to soak up sun near the zero entry pool. After a little rest and relaxation, the elephant helped Opal Sands staff member, Anna, answer phones then proceeded to explore the presidential suite with staff members, Destinie and Whitney. After taking a trip downstairs to the lobby to help guests check in, the toy elephant decided to spend time learning the ropes of valet parking.

Opal Sands Resort has plenty to see, do and explore, but all the toy elephant wanted to do was soak and relax in a warm bath and enjoy the beautiful view of the Gulf from his hotel room. Dreaming of when his owner would return, the toy elephant got his wish and was reunited with him.

No matter the guest request or situation, Clearwater's hotels continue to go out of the way to provide guests with the ultimate friendly Florida hospitality and a great stay.
