BoatUS Awards Clearwater 2010 Recreational Boating Access Award

The Boat Owners Association of the United States (BoatUS) has named the Clearwater Harbor Marina in downtown Clearwater, Florida as the winner of the 2010 BoatUS Recreational Boating Access Award. The honor recognizes the City’s efforts and accomplishments in bringing much needed access space to the region.
The Clearwater Harbor Marina provides 126 permanent slips, over 1500 feet of side-tie overnight docks and 650 feet of side-tie docking for daily use just steps away from Clearwater’s emerging downtown’s shops and restaurants as well as Coachman Park. Coachman Park is home to many of Clearwater’s exciting community events including a number of concerts and festivals, such as the Clearwater Jazz Holiday, all of which is comfortably enjoyed from docked vessels.
The Clearwater Harbor Marina is also just across the harbor from the islands of Clearwater Beach, making it a great place for vacationers and beach worshipers. Clearwater Beach is consistently ranked among the best in the United States and host to a wide variety of both water-based and land-based sports and activities.
